SAN DIEGO: Rick Clancy, former SVP of corporate communications at Sony Electronics, has joined software company Covario as senior director of PR. Clancy, who retired from Sony last June, said the position leverages his years of PR and corporate communications experience, as well his network of media, analysts, and other communications professionals. Covario specializes in a search marketing and optimization, as well as social media advertising services.
