LONDON: The Association of Christian Teachers is creating its first PR strategy in an attempt to raise awareness of Christian values in British schools, and to boost membership.
Future campaigning is expected to include calls for improving religious education. This includes bringing religious education, part of the basic curriculum, into the mandatory national curriculum for the first time.
There are also plans to encourage parents thinking of home schooling on religious grounds to have more confidence in state schooling.
