BOSTON: The Collegiate Professional Basketball League (CPBL), based in Boston, has named Lexington neighbor Ingalls Public Relations as its agency.
Ingalls will provide strategic counseling, media and community relations services for the new men's collegiate professional league, scheduled to begin play in November 1999.
According to Dennis O'Connor, director of communications for the CPBL, the company met with four public relations agencies in New York and another agency in Boston before selecting Ingalls.
