WASHINGTON: Burson-Marsteller has spun off its digital unit to create Proof Digital Media, a stand-alone digital agency.

Erin Byrne, chief digital strategist for Burson-Marsteller, is leading Proof Digital Media as CEO. The agency made the announcement yesterday, June 15.

The agency, which was previously Marsteller Interactive Communications, will focus on digital reputation management, interactive online design, social media and community development, and mobile marketing, she said.
