NEW YORK: Burson-Marsteller named three new directors to its US media practice: David Noonan, Angelena Abate, and Barbara Shear. Noonan joins the team from Newsweek, where he was previously senior editor. Abate comes from a position as producer for MSNBC, and Shear was previously SVP at MS&L. Each of the new hires will work on new and existing client and will report to Josh Gottheimer, Burson's worldwide EVP and chair of the US media practice.
