Brands that have been left for dead sometimes stage dramatic comebacks - or sometimes they suddenly rapidly fade, or explode, into oblivion. Remember when Apple was on the verge of bankruptcy? Other times they're rebranded, freshened up and sold or introduced with new management and messaging.
