NEW YORK: The New York Times Co. has named Bob Christie SVP of corporate communications, reporting to president and CEO Janet Robinson effective March 22. Christie was previously VP of communications at Dow Jones & Co. He replaces Catherine Mathis who left the Times in August for Standard & Poor's.
