LOS ANGELES: The Black Public Relations Society of Los Angeles, an affiliate chapter of the National Black Public Relations Society, has relaunched after several years of dormancy.
The national board of directors appointed Disney Consumer Products PR manager Shawn Turner president of the LA organization. Phyllis Banks, founder and president of P. Banks Communications, was named VP.
Turner and Banks will appoint additional officers, including a secretary, treasurer, and parliamentarian, in the next couple of months, they said. The chapter will ...
