NEW YORK: Kaplow Communications hired Margarita Miranda-Abate as an SVP in its consumer practice. Miranda-Abate was most recently a VP in Ogilvy PR's New York consumer group, which over the past few months has lost six senior-level employees and continues to hire new talent.
Her last day at Ogilvy was February 4. At Kaplow, she will be working on programs across the agency's beauty, health & wellness, fashion, and lifestyle accounts, including Shiseido, Timex, and new account Baby Phat.
