WASHINGTON: The Adfero Group has won the sole PR spot on a major Federal Aviation Administration contract.
The prime contractor, IT company Harris Corp., was awarded a seven-year, $331 million contract to provide air-to-ground data communications services under the FAA's Data Communication Integrated Service program.
The initiative will help the FAA move from voice-based air traffic control to automated air traffic management.
