I have to admit, I was surprised when I saw that
In Touch Weekly had foregone its usual nonsensical celebrity fluff on the cover
last week, instead choosing to feature “The Heroes of Virginia” in response to the Virginia Tech tragedy.
I usually think of
In Touch as a wannabe
Us Weekly, but this cover choice almost moved them up to poor-man’s
People magazine status. But now the
New York Post is
reporting that said
In Touch cover was one of its lowest-selling at the newsstand for the year, so it’s unlikely we’ll see this kind of departure again. Case in point this week’s
cover: Surprise Boob Jobs.
