NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ: Johnson & Johnson said Nancy Walker, VP, global pharmaceutical communications, will retire, effective September 1. Walker, who has spent nearly 20 years working for J&J, leads strategic external and internal communications, including efforts with the corporate Web site and employee relations. The company has not named a successor yet.

HORSHAM, PA: Diccicco Battista Communications just announced four new clients wins for its healthcare practice. The Horsham, PA-based agency began work with Prestwick Pharmaceuticals of Washington on May 1; Holy Redeemer Hospital of Meadowbrook, PA, on June 1; and NextGen Healthcare Information Services of Horsham, PA, on June 1. Work will begin with Los Angeles-based Hyland's on September 1.
