J&J creates virtual spring for OTC version of Zyrtec

NEW YORK: Johnson & Johnson kicked off the official launch of its over-the-counter (OTC) version of Zyrtec last week by constructing a virtual spring in New York's Central Park called "Spring Wonderland Dome."

WASHINGTON: APCO Worldwide hired Geeta Nayyar, a rheumatologist at George Washington University, as a VP in its health policy practice, starting August 1. Nayyar, who reports to Courtney Piron, SVP of the Washington-based agency, will retain her position as an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the university.

BETHESDA, MD: The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, a division of the National Institutes of Health, launched a campaign October 2 to raise awareness among parents of tweens about hearing loss due to loud noise. The campaign, "It's a Noisy Planet.
