Michelle Obama addressed the nation's food companies for the first time, urging them to reduce unhealthy ingredients and find creative ways to reduce the marketing of unhealthy foods to children. She spoke at the Grocery Manufacturers Association's science forum this week and addressed the association's members, including Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola, and General Mills.

PepsiCo announced that it will remove full-calorie sweetened drinks from schools in more than 200 countries by 2012, a first for a major soft-drink player.
