A new healthcare reform bill was passed by the Senate Sunday, with a vote of 219-212, following weeks of campaigning by both Democrats and Republicans. Analysts are already talking about how the bill will affect US health and pharmaceutical companies, as millions of Americans are now poised for new coverage opportunities.  

Meanwhile, opponents of the bill protested outside the Capitol Building, as politicians took to the vote.
