Consumers who enjoy New York magazine’s online contentbut use a Blackberrry instead of an iPhone or desktop browser are in luck. The media brand launched a beta mobile site on December 2, offering its content in a version more accessible to mobile users.

In the time since, the magazine’s bloggers have promoted the mobile Web site through their own posts. The publication’s internal PR staff has conducted a blog and trade magazine outreach effort, too, according to Serena Torrey, executive director of business development and corporate communications at New York Media. The final version of the mobile Web site will launch next year, she added.
