NEW YORK: MFD Communications has appointed Kara Fitzsimmons as a partner.
Fitzsimmons previously worked at Knight Capital Group for 12 years, most recently as MD of media relations, where she counseled the executive team in strategic communications and corporate positioning. She has also worked at boutique crisis and communications firm Clark & Weinstock. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter for Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal.
Based in New York, MFD is a communications firm specializing in media training and message development.
