Publicis revenues up 26% for the quarter

PARIS: Publicis reported $1.85 billion in revenue for the third quarter of 2010, a 26.1% increase over the $1.466 billion from the same time last year.

Publicis CEO Maurice Levy is optimistic about the third quarter for the holding company, telling reporters on Friday that the company will exceed its annual organic growth target of 3.5%.

After some rumors that Maurice Levy would step down as CEO of Publicis Groupe in December 2011 when his term expired, The Wall Street Journal reported today that he will stay on "as long as needed."
