Wall Street Journal's Marketplace section understandably leads with the second Mattel
recall. The subhead to the article is: "Toy Maker Pledges to Boost Inspection at Chinese Plants." I have to wonder if this crises can abate without them pledging to end manufacturing at Chinese plants. Obviously, I'm not a toy manufacturer supply chain expert, but I assume that leaving China would be disastrous financially. But will Mattel have a choice?
