LocalVox is a locally focused online and mobile marketing platform. It includes Broadcast, which through a single click markets clients' businesses, events, announcements, and deals to existing customers via email, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and website auto-updates. Content is also distributed on a network of local publishers. Searchlight optimizes clients' business on more than 100 local and mobile directories including Google+ Local.
Packages range from $199 per month to $549 per month depending on number of targeted SEO keywords and neighborhoods; number of monthly tracking reports; profile frequency on the network; and frequency of client support. À
la carte, Broadcast and Searchlight range from $199 to $249 per month. Bundled packages range from $199-$549. A $200 setup fee applies to everything.

How do you use it?
We log in to our personal dashboard. Then we upload our newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, and emails and click to publish to a network of local sites such as Near Say, New York Family, and any or all of our mailing lists and social media pages.
We can log in from our computers or iPads. If there's a problem we call our account manager.
How does it serve your business needs?
Citibabes is a community for families. It's a hyper-local downtown Manhattan business – literally, it's about how far people are willing to walk with a stroller – and it's important that we communicate with our members every week.
I also need reach out to different groups of people all the time and LocalVox is a phenomenal one-stop portal. Through it I can reach members, leads, people on various mailing lists, the New York City community, LocalVox subscribers, and my social media audiences.
Sometimes I need to communicate broadly. For example, we throw a huge Halloween party and invite everyone, and LocalVox helps us communicate with all of them. Other times I need hyper-local outreach. For example, we recently launched a pre-school physical program that's targeted to really local audiences. LocalVox helped us write a pseudo-editorial piece about the program, and we got a huge response. It was amazing how quickly we got a response through the network.
The whole process of us continually pushing out content has improved our SEO enormously. Before we had to pay someone just to do SEO and our ranking wasn't as good. I'm sure LocalVox is helping us get leads as well.
How does it integrate with your existing infrastructure from and IT standpoint?
What are the main benefits?
The fact that everything is in one place really helps. It's targeted exactly where I want it to be targeted.
It's easy to use and reasonably priced.
I love the support network and that LocalVox gives us editorial support. They're really a part of our team.
What are the main drawbacks?
I don't think there are any for us.
What would you like to see improved / added?
There's definitely nothing in terms of the product itself. It would be great to have more face-to-face meetings to strategize, but I think it's our fault that we haven't done more of that.
