WASHINGTON: APCO Worldwide has named Bob Kocher, former special assistant to President Barack Obama on healthcare and economic policy, part of its health advisory board and international advisory council.
During his time at the White House, Kocher helped form healthcare reform legislation was active in first lady Michelle Obama's “Let's Move” childhood obesity initiative.
The agency's health advisory board includes former chief medical officers, public health leaders, heads of communication of large pharmaceutical and insurance companies, and former health policy officials.
