Qorvis Communications helped organize a party in DC last night at the swanky Café Milano in Georgetown for
GQ magazine, which was promoting its September issue and featured list of DC’s "
50 most powerful people."
Those in attendance early on in the evening included Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), who tied for No. 18 on the list with Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA).
Of course any such list invites discussion as to the merits of the selections. For instance, is the list now out of date because Karl Rove resigned? Or, like Obi-Wan Kenobi after being struck down by Darth Vader, has he only
gained in power?
