LONDON: Single malt Scotch whiskey Glenfiddich has hired Porter Novelli to work on its global consumer PR strategy.  

The firm was awarded the six-figure account after winning a four-way pitch, the firm said in a statement. The Omnicom Group agency will support Glenfiddich's “One Day You Will” campaign and work on its 125th anniversary celebrations.

Porter's team will report to Katie Rawll, global brand director at Glenfiddich, and global brand communications manager Glenys Dawson. Jo Patterson, consumer practice leader at Porter, led the pitch.

Porter named Bill Kolberg, Linda Martin, and Stephen McCauly agency partners last month.
