I attended an event yesterday with Leonard Gordon, northeast regional director for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), who talked about some of the federal agency's priorities in 2010.
Gordon says that some of the issues the FTC will be increasingly be focusing on include health and safety, marketing to children, and green marketing claims as well as issues like pay-for-delay, online and mobile marketing, and, of course, blogger disclosures.
He also noted that staffing at the agency might be affected by the creation of a Consumer Financial Protection Agency.
