SeamlessWeb, an online food delivery Web site, is in the midst of
Free Coffee Days, a month-long promotion giving away cups of coffee at participating retailers in New York. The goals of the event are to thank existing customers, introduce new customers to the service, and connect with customers and restaurant partners, building buzz overall for SeamlessWeb.
"SeamlessWeb's typical customer is comfortable using technology to learn about and communicate with their social and business networks," said Kelsey O'Neal Flittner, director of business marketing for SeamlessWeb, in an e-mail to
PRWeek. "As such, SeamlessWeb targeted online media and social networks to spread the word about Free Coffee Days." The site also used its own Web site,
Twitter, and
Facebook accounts to spread the word.
