Environics adds two digital specialists

WASHINGTON: Environics Communications has hired Shakirah Holley and Merrick Kranz as digital media specialists.

Each will work to deliver and develop integrated communications campaigns for clients. They will also focus on video production.  

Previously, Holley worked at Equal Justice Works, where she developed the nonprofit's social media program, which involved Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Foursquare. She also blogged for the organization and handled social media at events.

Kranz previously was media manager at the Transport Workers Union's department of legislative and political affairs. He developed and implemented social media strategy and messaging campaigns on issues important to TWU members and constituents.
