NEW YORK: Emanate has promoted Blair Meisels to director of planning and insights. She was previously a VP at the firm.

Meisels will lead planning, creative development, and insight generation across accounts.

Meisels joined the agency in 2008 and designed its strategic-planning process, which helps teams understand clients' business goals and identifies key target audiences.

Prior to Emanate, Meisels held advertising and marketing roles at Every Day with Rachael Ray, Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, and JWT.
