NEW YORK: Edelman has appointed Cassel Kroll, former director of social media strategy at Mindshare, to serve as VP of media strategy at Edelman Digital.
Kroll, who will report to Edelman Digital New York GM Liz Lee Rzepecki, will work on integrating paid media into digital and social initiatives.
He will also work closely with Kevin King, global chair of Edelman Digital, and Adam Hirsch, SVP of emerging media and technology.
During his time at Mindshare, Kroll developed paid, owned, and earned social media strategies for brands such as Unilever's Dove, Ragu, and Tresemme. Before joining Mindshare in 2011, he worked for Starcom MediaVest.
