When Walt Disney announced its upcoming animated films with Pixar Animation Studios this week,
pretty much everyone took notice. The schedule, which includes 10 all-new features, goes through 2012. The press conference in New York, featuring footage and stills from several films, was followed by a press release that provided more details.
A Disney representative told
PRWeek that going forward, the PR campaigns will focus on the individual movies, starting with
WALL-E, which comes out June 27.
Disney's release also emphasized that starting with the November release of
Bolt, all but one of the Disney/Pixar animated features will be in Disney Digital 3-D.
