WASHINGTON:
Levick Strategic Communications has hired Qorvis Communications executive Jack
Deschauer as VP in its corporate practice.
Deschauer, who served as a senior director at Qorvis for more than 11 years,
will work with Levick clients on grassroots, political affairs, and public
policy issues.
For the last four years, Deschauer worked with aerospace manufacturer Pratt
& Whitney to end funding for an alternate engine for the Joint Strike
Fighter and to promote the “PurePower” engine. He also has worked on crisis
communications issues including the New England Patriots' “Spygate” incident
and the trial of former NBA player Jayson Williams, who was convicted of
reckless manslaughter in the shooting death of a limousine driver.
