WASHINGTON: Cruise Lines International Association has hired Michael McGarry as SVP of public affairs.
His core responsibilities will include issues management, crisis communications, government affairs, member communications, and stakeholder engagement. He will liaise with the group's government affairs and PR committees.
McGarry most recently served as managing partner at reputation-management firm R2M Solutions. He has also held senior-level communications and consulting positions at brands including Royal Dutch Shell, Visa, and Harrah's Entertainment.
