Conan O'Brien has had quite the effect on the Twitterverse since he joined the site on February 24. So far the comedian has amassed nearly 612,000 followers and decided to follow one lucky Twitterer: Sarah Killen (@LovelyButton), who now has more than 20,000 followers of her own.

With her new-found fame, Killen not only received offers of help for her upcoming wedding, but is also bringing some attention to nonprofit organizations she supports. Both Killen and her mother are planning to walk in the 2010 Susan G. Komen Michigan 3-Day for the Cure, and the Children's Hunger Fund, supported by fashion designer Kelima K (@Kelima_K), who offered Killen a wedding dress, also reported it has seen a jump in Web site traffic since Killen mentioned the site on Twitter.
