In yet
another bad sign for green tech, two
new reports show venture capital investments in green tech started to shrink in the fourth quarter of 2008. Between the third and fourth quarters of 2008, spending fell 35%, the lowest quarterly total in more than a year, the
Associated Press reports.
"I don't think we're going to fall off a cliff," Brian Fan, senior research director for the Cleantech Group told the
AP. "Given the economic climate, investors are being more cautious."
