PALO ALTO, CA: Howard Clabo, former MD and head of
corporate communications at Applied Materials, will join Hewlett-Packard as its
corporate media relations and executive communications leader.
Clabo will begin work at HP on May 21. His team will develop an integrated
communications strategy to support HP's business goals and reputation, provide
counsel to HP executives on delivering communication to external audiences, and
lead global media relations.
Prior to Applied Materials, Clabo held senior communications positions at
FedEx and in-house at a number of agencies.
Former HP CCO Bill Wohl left HP in October.
