BEIJING: Burson-Marsteller China has named David Gong senior adviser for CSR and sustainability.
Gong joined the firm from nonprofit BSR, which works on social and environmental responsibility issues. He previously worked with companies such as oilfield services provider Schlumberger and Home Depot.
Gong will also work with Daisy King, who leads Burson's New York-based US-China specialty practice.
Burson China named David Zhao EVP last December.
