Today we posted a story about Bank of America's efforts to help college students with financial literacy. Coincidentally, the Wall Street J ournal has this story talking about prepaid debit cards for college students and the potential pitfalls. Add to that this disturbing stat: "The average college graduate carries $2,748 in credit-card debt, according to a 2007 survey by student lender Nellie Mae."
