Univision appoints Malavé to lead consumer PR

MIAMI: Univision Communications has hired Iveliesse Malavé as VP of consumer and entertainment PR, a newly created role at the Spanish-language media company.

MIAMI: Univision Communications has hired Iveliesse Malavé as VP of consumer and entertainment PR, a newly created role at the Spanish-language media company.

Based in Miami, Malavé will manage consumer PR and publicity efforts. She will report to Mónica Talán, EVP of corporate communications and public relations.

Prior to joining Univision, Malavé was SVP in Fleishman-Hillard's Miami office, where she represented brands such as Olay, Pantene, CoverGirl, and Head & Shoulders and served as a member of the agency's national Hispanic communications practice, FH Hispania. Malavé previously led Euro RSCG Magnet Latino, working on Hispanic campaigns for clients including Splenda, Lactaid, Sprint, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She has also held roles at The Bravo Group and the US Department of Health and Human Services.
