After Mitt Romney captured three more primary wins last night, politicos have declared the Republican nomination for president all his but for the formality of August's convention.

Romney took first place in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Wisconsin. His main competitor at this junction in the race, Rick Santorum, aggressively campaigned in the latter and captured 37.6% of the vote to Romney's 42.5%.

The headlines last night and this morning said it all:

"Who Will Mitt's Mate Be?" Drudge Report

"Romney, Obama Get Ready to Rumble," Politico

"Game Over? Brokered convention highly unlikely," National Review Online

"Mitt Romney heads for nomination after primaries victory," The Guardian

"GOP nomination all but assured, Mitt Romney zooms in on Obama," The Christian Science Monitor

Meanwhile, Romney's campaign has teamed up with the RNC to begin fundraising together, and President Obama is taking shots at Romney and his newfound endorsements, Rep. Paul Ryan (D-WI) in particular.

Game over Newt, Rick, and Ron.
