Former NY Rep. Molinari to lead Google DC office

SAN FRANCISCO: Google has hired former US Rep. Susan Molinari (R-NY) to oversee its Washington office as VP of public policy and government relations for the Americas.

SAN FRANCISCO: Google has hired former US Rep. Susan Molinari (R-NY) to oversee its Washington office as VP of public policy and government relations for the Americas.

She replaced Alan Davidson, who led the DC office since its founding in 2005.

Molinari previously served as a representative from New York City from 1990 to 1997.

She has also lobbied on behalf of major technology companies, like Motorola, according to public flings. In 2010, she founded the lobbying and consulting firm Susan Molinari Strategies.
