Dach to exit Walmart role

BENTONVILLE, AR: Walmart's communications leader Leslie Dach is leaving his post in June after seven years with the company.

BENTONVILLE, AR: Walmart's communications leader Leslie Dach is leaving his post in June after seven years with the company.

Dach joined the retail giant in 2006 as EVP of corporate affairs and government relations. During his tenure, he has helped with such initiatives as increasing the sourcing of US products, making Walmart's food healthier, and working with major suppliers to reduce packaging.

Prior to Walmart, Dach was worldwide vice chairman of Edelman, where he served for 17 years. He also held a top communications position for John Kerry's presidential campaign and advised the Clinton White House on communications issues.
