Allison+Partners names Wolf to lead new China practice

BEIJING: Allison+Partners has launched a China practice and named David Wolf to lead it as MD.

BEIJING: Allison+Partners has launched a China practice and named David Wolf to lead it as MD.

Wolf counsels American, Chinese, and European clients across a range of industries and specializes in crisis, new market entry, and corporate communications. He is based in Beijing.

Wolf was previously president and CEO of Beijing-based corporate communications firm Wolf Group Asia for seven years, working with clients such as Discovery Networks, Motorola Mobility, Google, Foxconn, and AOL. Prior to that, he led the Asia-Pacific technology practice for Burson-Marsteller, managing of team of 50 staffers across offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney. He founded Burson's tech practice in China in 2000.

Wolf has also served as MD and COO of Claydon Gescher Associates, a Beijing-based boutique public affairs firm serving clients including Intel, HBO Asia, and Reuters.
