Wal-Mart recently signed a deal with a new unit of NBC Universal, Women@NBCU, for a campaign designed to reach mothers, the New York Times reports. The campaign will focus on all the people who help mothers be better parents, including teachers, family members, babysitters, and neighbors.

Wal-Mart is sponsoring material on topics like child care and creating meals for a family, which will appear on Today and ivillage.com, both of which are NBC Universal outlets. Commercials for Wal-Mart will follow segments on Today.
