Palm wants to resuscitate its faltering brand, according to the New York Times. After last year's debacle surrounding the Foleo launch (and it stock price plunging 90% since its high in March 2000), the brand is preparing for a comeback, the paper reports today.

Today the company plans to unveil the Treo Pro, a smartphone for business customers.  According to the Times, "[Jon] Rubinstein, the executive chairman, said he is convinced he can bring Palm back. 'Everyone is trying to make an iPhone killer,' he said. 'We are trying to make a killer Palm product.'"
