During the summer, NBC is sending fans to its Web site to get their fix of their favorite TV shows, including
The Office and
Heroes.
Starting July 10, new
webisodes from
The Office will be available online, with characters Kevin, Oscar, and Darryl all playing roles in the short, online-only weekly episodes.
The Office won an
Emmy for its webisodes from two years ago. Until the webisodes are up on the site, visitors can watch a preview or a behind-the-scenes video.
Sci-fi show
Heroes is also getting in on the
webisode game, with a trilogy of online-only episodes launching on July 14. Meanwhile, the show is continuing with its online
graphic novels during the summer break.
Also hot online:
Alanis Morissette is hosting an
online karaoke contest where fans can sing her songs on MySpace Karaoke.
Fringe continues with its
viral marketing.
Corey Haim and Corey Feldman don't always get along in their show
The Two Coreys, and now A&E brings the fighting online with a
Corey vs. Corey game.
The Web site for
TruBeverage, a synthetic blood nourishment drink, is actually promoting the new HBO show
True Blood, which debuts September 7.
