Lollapalooza took place in Chicago last weekend, but if you were unable to make it to the Windy City to see the likes of Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, and Bloc Party, festival organizers created several ways for you to hear and see what happened at the event.
Visitors to the official Web site can watch
clips from the concerts, and even upload their own videos to share with other fans. An online
forum is still active, with fans sharing their stories and memories. The festival also has
MySpace and
Facebook pages.
In addition to the
blogs and
news outlets that
covered the three-day event, music blog
Largehearted Boy also has downloads of MP3s from the event. All of Lollapalooza's online outreach helps connect fans and attendees, creating a community that is larger than just the annual event.
Also hot online:
Bob Dylan and British band
Keane both have free downloads of new songs available on their Web sites.
FX's
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is coming back for a fourth season on September 18, and the gang has created an online
music video to the song "Going Back to Philly" to promote the new season.
Shark Week on Discovery Channel was last week, but you can still "
Shark Yourself" and add shark teeth to a personal photo.
